Getting started
Create your account, find your way around the app, and test your first bot on your own WhatsApp.
Create your account#
Go to app.officely.ai and sign up with your WhatsApp number, business name and email. We send a verification code to your WhatsApp. Enter it and you're in.
Next time, sign in with your WhatsApp number and a fresh code, or choose Continue with Google.
Find your way around#
The sidebar has two groups:

Your profile (with your API token) is at the bottom of the sidebar. Press ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) to open the command palette from anywhere.
Build your first bot#

Open Chat Builder
Every chatbot starts with a Start Message step. This is the first thing your customer sees.

Add steps
Drag steps from the Steps panel onto the canvas, such as Options for a menu or Text to ask a question, and connect them by dragging from one step's handle to the next.

Preview
Click Preview to chat with your bot in the browser, or use WhatsApp preview to try it on your own phone (next section).

Publish
Click Publish. You get a chat link, a form link and an embed snippet for your website.

Test on your own WhatsApp#
In Preview, choose WhatsApp preview. WhatsApp opens with a short code already typed to Officely's number. Send it, and the bot you're building replies on your phone.
Preview is free and works before you connect your own WhatsApp number. You can also run the preview from any step in the step inspector with Run the full preview from here.
Go live#
When the bot works in preview, publish it and connect a channel:
- WhatsApp: the official API or your existing number by QR. See Channels.
- Your website: paste the embed snippet from the publish window. See Website widget.
- Your own systems: start conversations from your CRM or store with a Catch Hook.
