Find steps
Jump to any step in a big chatbot by its name, its text or one of its answers.
Search the canvas#

Open Find step
Press ⌘F (Ctrl+F on Windows), or click the magnifying glass (Find step) at the top of the builder.

Type what you remember
Type in Search steps. The canvas jumps to the first match and selects it. The counter shows where you are, for example 1/4.

Go through the matches
Press Enter, or use the arrows, to move to the next match.

Close
Click X to close the search and clear the highlight.
What it searches#
- The step's name, for example
order_number. - The message text.
- The text of its options and buttons.
- The step type, for example Options or Filter.
- The step a Jump goes to.
- The step's description.
- A link or file address, when you type the whole address.
Search ignores capital letters. Type a few letters from the middle of a word and it still finds it.
Tips#
Give every step a short, clear name, like ask_email or main_menu. You'll find steps faster, and the names are easier to use as variables.
To list every step of one kind, search its type: Filter shows all your filters one after another.
Common problems#
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| ⌘F opens your browser's search instead | An AI flow is open full size over the canvas. Close or shrink it, then press ⌘F again. |
| The counter shows 0/0 | No step matches. Try fewer letters, or a word from the message. |
| A link isn't found | Links are matched only by the full address. Paste the whole link. |
